Best Damn Smoked Meats, or "B.D.S.M" for short, is giving the people what they want! The finest smoked meats Akron has to offer, colorful puns, and an experience your mouth won't forget, baby. It's a combo best enjoyed on a cool summer evening with friends... in a dungeon... chained to the wall. OR whatever you're into! BDSM was in need of some branding for their new venture and were open to a wide variety of ideas. The goal was to communicate the NSFW themes without being too overt. In the end, a pig mascot served as the best delivery vehicle for the pun. He's friendly and fun, but the wink, the apple gag, and the leggings, suggest he's in on the joke. Pair him with some bold typography, and clever copywriting and you get BDSM!
